Second Pass replays your twenty worst calls against a rewritten script — real audio, real gatekeepers, four minutes — so you know whether the change helped before you spend the next thousand dials finding out.
“He’s not in right now.” — 0:31
The agent asked for the manager a second time. It should have asked when he’s in. Pick any stage above to see what happened there.
Every outbound tool reports the same shape: dialed, connected, successful. Those tell you a campaign is failing. They never tell you where — and the fix for “nobody picks up” is a different day of the week, while the fix for “the bartender hangs up” is one sentence in the script.
Two thirds of everyone who answered were lost at the same step, to roughly the same sentence. That is a script problem, and it is invisible in the left-hand column.
Any call that ended before the pitch goes to a set with one click. Twenty is enough — the same three sentences kill most of them.
Not a flow chart. Six fixed blocks — opener, gatekeeper, objections, pitch, capture, voicemail — and you edit the one that lost the call.
Reached a manager: was 3 of 20, now 9 of 20. Ship it, or throw the change away having spent four minutes instead of four hundred dials.
What a replay is, exactly. The first ten to fifteen seconds are the real recording — the real bar noise, the real first words. After that a model plays the same gatekeeper, briefed from that call’s own transcript to be exactly as difficult. It is not proof your script works on live humans. It is a way to throw out a change that makes things worse, before it costs you a thousand dials.
Vapi retired its Workflows canvas on 18 Aug 2026, saying models cannot reliably hold a node’s instructions and every exit condition at once. Retell’s Flex Mode compiles the graph you drew back into a single prompt at runtime. Two vendors, opposite directions, same conclusion.
So the most expensive thing in this market doesn’t get built here. Neither does a CRM integration, a voice marketplace, an analytics dashboard, or a template gallery. A CSV in, a webhook out, and five numbers at the top of the list.
A confirmed contact is a name, a validated email, and the recording where the manager said it. No answer costs nothing. Voicemail costs nothing. A gatekeeper who hangs up costs nothing.
Done for you first — you send the list, we run it. Self-serve opens once the calls have taught the scripts enough to be worth renting.
